Why is this CD so IMPORTANT ??? The reason is - that it is a copy of the ONLY source on the Internet for many things relating to nuclear recovery. It is certainly the only source that brings some of the following specific things together in one location in an organized fashion. The CD contains the files that are locked on the Internet and must not be used until after the nuclear catastrophe. Among those files, found only there and on the CD, are ones that explain:

The main thing being that these are all arranged in a hierarchical directory with introductions to each section so that you can easily find the subjects that you need at the moment - and have them at hand with the power of computer search tools. People often ask me - whether computers will survive? Well, yes, some will. But many will not and power will be scarce also - so that is why it is important to make the CDs NOW! Everyone who receives a CD at this time should make fifty copies to have available afterwards. You may think that you don't know fifty people, but the idea is to give 10 to 5 responsible persons and ask those 5 people to give 2 to five people. Hopefully, to people in as distant places as possible and people who are trying to work on recovery such as any surviving emergency personnel. It is desirable that you not only distribute the CD ahead of time but that you study it ahead of time so that you will be familiar with its structure and where to find things. Tell people to think about it. Would they not save someone's life if they could? What you are putting in their hands is something that could save great numbers of lives. All this is being freely given to you. You are not being charged one thin dime. Freely you will receive - so freely share with others. So, act now - send an email to your State T.E.A.M. Leader with your MAILING ADDRESS as it should appear on a label, and your email address below that.

There is on this page a table with a link to the The only commitment that we ask you to make is that you will help us to provide this CD to others. As we get further requests for copies in your state we will send you a few and ask you to send them a free copy, just as you have been sent one. Another thing you can do is to make copies and send them out to as many of your friends as you think would appreciate it - and ask them to do the same - in turn. Finally we ask you to make fifty copies of the CD now, so that you will have them available to give out AFTER the Catastrophe. Being at the root we have personally distributed way over a thousand copies of the CD and estimates submitted by our TEAM Leaders of the numbers they have distributed through their trees brings the total distributed to tens of thousands that have already been distributed but if everyone meets their commitments there will be hundreds of thousands available after a nuclear holocaust. The CD has been distributed to over forty countries.

The free CD offered here is predominately about RECONSTRUCTION and RECOVERY after nuclear holocaust. There is a section on RESOURCES for nuclear survival but because this CD is meant primarily for use AFTER a nuclear holocaust those persons having the luxury and wisdom to prepare ahead of time should avail themselves of the resources indicated under the Fourth R and also of the resources at:

Ark Two has offered a great number of programs and projects related to preparation for survival of nuclear holocaust - and while our focus now is predominately on Reconstruction and Recovery there is one area in which we are still trying to alert and motivate governments in regard to survival. We feel that it is too late now to implement an extensive Public Shelter plan in North America. It is probably even unlikely that the government will undertake to equip most of the populace with radiation detection devices. BUT, we would still like to see a much broader stockpiling of KI (Potassium Iodide). Bought in bulk the costs per dosage are fractions of a cent. At Ark Two we have stock for about 3,000 people and Shane in Texas has a supply stocked for over 10 million.
The problem is that even with large supplies (and a stock for 10 million is not large relative to the US as a whole, or even to many states or provinces) is that they will not be where they may be suddenly needed. Private efforts -such as mine and Shane's are not sufficient. The state and provincial governments need to have dispersed stockpiles. We are talking about insignificant amounts of money.
Private altruistic efforts such as this one to disperse tens of thousands of CDs, done by individual initiative and with individual funds would be much more successful if they had but a small percentage of the resources spent upon a single guided missile. ALL that money spent upon offense - and nothing on real defense. All for sword and nothing for shield. All for destruction and nothing for reconstruction. All applause for the "brave" individuals who are about to wreak havoc and only opposition and public ridicule for an individual who looks ahead to the recovery, reconstruction and renewal of society and civilization. Go figure.
